I hope you enjoy it.<\/p>\n<p>I have been working as a professional video game developer in the European video game industry since 1985. I design &amp; develop video games, compose\/engineer music, and write books &amp; articles for a living. Since the enchanting day I started coding at age of 12, I have never thought of giving up on my dreams&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>My work crosses over many disciplines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Computer Programming<\/li>\n<li>Video Game Design and Development<\/li>\n<li>Conceptual Artwork Design<\/li>\n<li>3D Modeling\/Sculpting<\/li>\n<li>Composing and Arranging Music<\/li>\n<li>Audio Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Literature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since 2009, I have been totally focused on Unreal Engine (UE3, UDK, UE4, and nowadays UE5) by Epic Games, and thus currently working as a seasoned freelance Unreal Engine C++ programmer and interactive 3D content creator.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1658\" src=\"http:\/\/mertboru.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/z.webbullet_endof.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"27\" height=\"27\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">I studied Software Engineering at University College London (<\/span><em style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Associate of Science<\/em><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">) and English Literature at Istanbul University (<\/span><em style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Associate of Arts<\/em><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">), but have always considered myself an\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5;\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Autodidacticism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">autodidact<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">\u00a0&#8211; a self-taught person.\u00a0I enjoy learning new things!<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"alignright\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>&#8220;Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.&#8221; &#8211; Lao Tzu<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thanks to rewarding self-discipline\u00a0skills, I have studied various topics in arts and engineering, and still doing so&#8230; It&#8217;s like reading a neverending story!
